My name is Mrs. Fitzgerald and I am so excited to be your third grade teacher! I was born and raised in the South Bay Area and I’m so excited to be teaching at Cherry Chase! After graduating from Milpitas High School, I attended CSU-Chico where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with an emphasis on child psychology. I moved back to Los Gatos and finished the multiple-subject credential program at San Jose State University in 2009. This will be my eighth year teaching, and my second year at Cherry Chase.
When I’m not in the classroom, I like to spend time with my husband and 3½ year old son, Ben. We enjoy going on bike rides, hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and watching the Cars movie over and over…and over. Dancing and the performing arts has been a passion of mine since a young age, and I continue to participate in a local performing group in Santa Clara.
I look forward to working as a team and making this the best school year!
